Opening Doors Capital Campaign

We have made the bold move to purchase buildings and land to expand our educational vision into the future. This is a time of growth for Thaddeus Stevens School. Our outdoor science program now includes experiential learning trips, like canoeing in to Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks for two nights. We have been granted candidacy as an International Baccalaureate school, a network of schools dedicated to creating critical thinkers who participate as both local and global citizens.

 

In September, we will open our doors and welcome a new school year at our new home. The property has a brook, an outdoor pavilion, and a beautiful wooded area. The classrooms are in a side-by-side updated farmhouse and renovated barn with an open foyer. The beauty and solace of our new location will provide the play, exploration, and raw beauty of nature that our students need to grow into healthy young adults. 

We must raise $250,000 to make campus improvements that will convert the property to a school. We are asking everyone who appreciates our school – students, parents, grandparents, or community members – to help us meet our goal.
